When Onnit acquired the popular Austin-based Black Swan Yoga, I was tasked with modernizing their brand identity to reflect their growth and strong presence within the yoga community. The original branding was homemade, and while it had a certain charm, it no longer represented the level of professionalism and ‘coolness’ that Black Swan had become known for. My goal was to create a fresh, cohesive design that honored the brand’s roots while elevating it to match the legitimacy and reputation it had earned as a prominent name in the yoga world.
I was required to develop two versions of the BSY type logo. A brand new version (top of page) as well as a modification of their classic one (seen above).
